Australian batsman Travis Head Reaches Out to Ben Duckett After Social Media Storm

The footage purportedly showed Duckett, reportedly intoxicated, in a tetchy conversation with a fan.
This took place during the team's mid-series break in Noosa, unexpectedly placing the opening batter in an negative spotlight.
Team Officials Addressed Behaviour
Earlier that day, England's managing director, Rob Key, had spoken out.
He called heavy alcohol consumption "completely unacceptable" and stated he would be looking into reports from the trip.
“I get along with Ducky well, I reached out to him to see if he was going alright,” Head told reporters.
He made these comments at the MCG following England's two-day victory in the fourth Test.
An Appeal for Understanding
Head emphasized the personal side of the situation. "Everyone is still human. What you do in personal time is up to you."
He noted the public scrutiny of their lives but concluded the reaction was "over the top."
"Everyone made a lot more out of it that there should have been." Head added. "I believe it was filmed by an England supporter."
Sharing his perspective, the Australian batter said, "I don’t think it was any real issue."
He suggested that "When there’s big gaps in Tests, people have got to find something to talk about."
Stokes Backs His Player
Earlier, England captain Ben Stokes had stood by Duckett.
In an emotive press conference before the fourth Test, Stokes asked for "empathy" towards his teammate.
