Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his effort excellently kept out from the Albanian keeper. With a teammate staying deep, he was forced to provide width out wide yet his deliveries from the touchline were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The match-winner netting 77th and 78th goals at international level. The opener a typical poacher’s finish and his next a superb finish with his head after peeling away from his marker. Now 32, his form is unwavering and the side have every chance next summer with him up top. 8

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play on the left flank. Was presented with a decent opportunity following a pass by Bellingham but the keeper denied him. Rashford made much more of effect after coming on. 5
